(5) Isolated area
- It is recommended that the storage facility to be located at an area far from other
facilities since it is
not a common working place for all personnel.
- It will reduce the risk of radiation exposure to the workers and public.
(6) Low Risk of Fire and Flood
- It is important to choose the location of storage area.
- The location should be at the area with low risk of fire and flood
- The impact of fire and water intrusion to the storage facility is enormous.
