Safe Handling of Nuclear Gauges and X-Ray Analyzers

▪ Maintenance should be carried out by authorised and trained personnel.

▪ If the device cannot be turned off for maintenance, steps should be taken to

avoid exposure of any part of the body to direct radiation.

▪ The person doing the maintenance must have a dosimeter and survey meter.

▪ The maintenance work, must be recorded in the maintenance record of the

device.
