Safe Handling of Nuclear Gauges and X-Ray Analyzers
Disposal:
▪ When the useful life of the device is over, it has to be disposed off in an approved and
safe manner.
▪ An approval must be sought from the AELB before disposal can be carried out.
▪ The device can be disposed of by sending it back to its country of origin or to other
recognised waste disposal facilities.
▪ Disposal must be recorded in the source inventory.
