• Site Emergency

• Site emergency is more serious than local emergency. It may

affect the whole facility area.

• Example of site emergency:

• Fire or explosion causing damage to a room or its contents,

where sealed or unsealed radioactive materials are used or

stored.

• Loss of shielding of large radiation sources

• Major spillage of radioactive materials in work areas.
