• Local emergency
• Accident or occurrence in the work area in which
personnel may have been exposed to excessive radiation
or radioactive contamination.
• This category of emergency includes small radioactive
spill and loss of shielding of small radioactive sources in
the work area.
• It can easily be corrected with the help of two or three
people.
