Safe Handling of Nuclear Gauges and X-Ray Analyzers
Work area monitoring:
▪ Areas around a nuclear gauge should be checked for radiation level.
▪ Measurements can be carried out either weekly or a few times in a month.
▪ Monitoring results should be recorded and kept for inspection by the AELB.
▪ For portable nuclear gauge, radiation measurements must be carried out to
classify the area and to ensure compliance.
