X-ray Analyzers
Basic components of an X-ray analyzer:
Tube housing:
▪ The x-ray tube is enclosed in a tube housing.
▪ It is used to minimize leakage of the radiation and to provide protection of
the x-ray tube against physical damage.
▪ It is usually wholly or partially enclosed in interlocked barriers or shield to
provide further protection.
