INTRODUCTION

Radiation protection and radiation safety:

➢Protection is “reactive” while “safety” is proactive and

indicating positive gain.

Radiation cannot merely be controlled but preferably

managed.

Management must not only be systematic but also systemic

(i.e. System Management).
