                            Internal exposure is attributed to


                            radiation                      exposures                         from

                            radionuclides inside the body.







                            There are three routes of entry of

                            radionuclides into the body:


                                  1. Inhalation of contaminated

                                      air



                                  2. Ingestion through mouth


                                  3. Absorption through skin
