EFFECT OF RADIATION ON DNA
The two strand are held together by
hydrogen bond that run from one base
to another.
A hydrogen bond is a weak chemical
bond, occur over short distances and can
be easily formed and broken.
There are four bases, two of pyrimidine
(thymine and cytosine) and two of
purine (adenine and guanine).
