EFFECT OF RADIATION ON DNA

The two strand are held together by

hydrogen bond that run from one base

                            to another.

A hydrogen bond is a weak chemical

bond, occur over short distances and can

                            be easily formed and broken.

There are four bases, two of pyrimidine

(thymine and cytosine) and two of

                            purine (adenine and guanine).
