• Local officials

• Provide police, fire fighting and medical assistance to the

site (if requested)

• Decide on the protective actions for the public

• Inform the public (within 1 hour)

• National level officials

• Notify IAEA and other countries

• Support the local officials

• Conduct monitoring further from the site

• Conduct joint media briefings

• Coordinate longer-term protective actions
