Responsibilities of licensee and employer

• Regulations 15(4) – (4) The licensee shall establish and maintain

a radiation protection programme and safety procedure,

including emergency plans to ensure the protection of the

health of workers and members of the public and to minimize

the danger to life, property and the environment.

Emergency plans

• Regulations 68. (1) The licensee shall establish an emergency

plan for responding to and correcting every reasonably

foreseeable emergency situation involving a radiation source.
