Definitions 2

• "Emergency plan" means a set of procedures that must be

implemented in the event of an accident.

• "Prevention" means action taken to prevent or stop an

emergency from occurring.

• "Mitigation" means action taken to reduce the adverse

effects of emergencies.

• "Recovery" means action taken to restore the situation to

normal.
