Personal Decontamination Monitoring

• Material used in decontamination process may become

contaminated. Prevent spreading of contamination.

• Perform all monitoring in an area of low background

• Avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation.

• Probe about 1 cm from the body (not to touch);start

checking at the top of the head

• If contaminated, record results and perform

decontamination
