Fire Involving Nuclear Gauges 40
o Immediate control measures:
Work/Shift Supervisor should:
▪ Immediately vacate the area of any personnel;
▪ Switch off ventilation system and electric supply to
affected areas.
▪ Extinguish the fire using available fire fighting
equipment. Request assistance of in-house fire fighting
team.
▪ If fire cannot be put out, inform the RPO/RPS for
further action.
