❖A simple emergency plan should be established to properly

manage the situation arising from accidents or incidents -

Radiation Protection (Basic Safety Standard) Regulation 1988.

❖Objectives:

❑To limit the exposure to as low as reasonably achievable.

❑To control and bring the situation back to normal

immediately after an accident happened.

❑To gather information for the purpose of assessment and

taking corrective action.
