• Personal & Equipment Monitoring

• NO hand, only forceps or tongs

• ALARA - shielding, time, distance

• Planning - Practice with dummy

• Scattered radiation

• High radiation area clearly marked (warning & radiation signs)

• Source register - RPO

- The serial number

- Nature : sealed, solid, liquid etc

- Date of purchase and its activity

- All movement

- Test conducted

• Periodic self audit - RPO to report if lost

• Dispose- send to manufacture

• Condition of source - corroded or damaged

• Proper store when not in use
