Safe Handling of Nuclear Gauges and X-Ray Analyzers

▪ The border of the area should be clearly marked with rope and radiation warning

signs and notices posted.

▪ If working period has to be extended, a safe storage place should be identified and
established.

▪ All workers must put on protective equipment and a dosimeter provided to them.

▪ The protection principles of shielding, time and distance (STD) should be applied all

time.
