CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT

 Continual improvement should be based on:

a. justification of radiation technology used;

b. optimization of the dose received to ALARA; and

c. dose limit.

 Fundamental commitment by management to proactively

reduce radiation accident and ill health (effectiveness) and/or

the system to achieve the desired aims by employing fewer

resources (efficiency).
