Bremstrahlung / Breaking Radiation
Production of bremsstrahlung X-rays: (1) Interaction at large distance
from the nucleus produces low energy X-rays, (2) interaction at
intermediate distance from the nucleus produces intermediate energy
X-rays, and (3) direct collision with nucleus produces maximum
energy X-ray.
