Exercise/Drill 17

• Aims to evaluate plans, procedures and capabilities for

coping with radiological accidents

• Reassessment should also be based on analysis and reports

of accidents that have occurred, teaching and performance

appraisal

• Exercise is designed to test important elements in an

emergency plan

• Regulations 68 (7) P.U.(A)46 - Training in respect of the

emergency plan shall be held together with the relevant

authorities at the appropriate time frame.
